I signed up. Now where do I go?
Whether you signed up as a Provider or Customer, your next step is to click on your username in the top navigation bar, this will bring you to your dashboard.
A rapid prototyping technique is missing from the category list. How can I add it?
If this is a fairly common technique and you think it should be added to this list, please contact us to let us know. Another way to let your customers know that you provide this service is to add it to your services within your provider dashboard.
How do I change my company name in the web address for my profile page?
If you’re unhappy with your company’s slug (the part that looks like rapidprototypingservices.com/your-name-here/), we’d be happy to change it for you. Just email firstname.lastname@example.org with your current “slug” and what you’d like to change it to.
The request should be sent from the email used for the account requesting the change.
Does RPS serve providers and customers outside of the United States?
We do not at the moment. However, this feature is under consideration.
I’m a featured provider but I don’t see my profile on the homepage. Why not?
Featured providers are shown at random in a rotating carousel that brings new providers into view every 6 seconds. If for some reason you don’t see your profile after multiple page loads, feel free to send us a message and we would be happy to look into it for you.
My uploaded images look distorted. How do I fix this?
It’s important that you observe the image dimensions that are specified for each image slot. You can see the specified dimensions in the screenshot taken from the My Account portal for your logo image:
If you find that your image is not currently the correct dimensions, you will need to resize it. This is typically done with a tool such as https://www.photoresizer.com/ or a desktop software like Adobe Photoshop.
My company already has a profile on RPS, how can I claim it?
On the detail page for your company, look for a “Claim Business” button. If no such button is there, contact us and we can assist you in claiming your business.
How can I cancel my subscription?
In the side panel on the left side of your account dashboard click on the link to Upgrade Account.
On the Upgrade Account page you will see a link to cancel your subscription in the top right.
